Anissa graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Prior to being a new owner of Mason Accounting & Tax Services, she and her husband, Michael worked together growing his Financial Planning practice, Cummings Wealth Management. With over 15 years in the industry, she has worked as a Client Service Specialist and Chief Operating Officer of an independent financial planning firm. An attribute of her work ethic is being able to provide service to clients that go above and beyond the status quo. She has the ability to handle situations for her clients to always make them each feel that they are the most important client and be able to solve their concern. It is imperative to her that every client has that experience. She brings innovative ideas to not only make the office run more efficiently, but to have her clients feel a sense of ease.
Anissa grew up on the Treasure Coast and she and Michael are happy to be raising their daughter Avery here too. She enjoys quality family time and volunteering at Avery’s school functions.

Senior Accountant
Diana is our Senior Accountant. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Universidad Santiago de Cali in her native country Colombia. Her tax preparation experience includes all types of returns from the simple personal tax returns, to business and partnership returns, and trusts and estates. Diana specializes in QuickBooks and full-charge accounting including payroll, federal and state reporting. She compiles and reviews financial statements for many businesses covering a wide range of industries.
A professional with over 8 years of experience in auditing within different industries that include banking, hospitality, etc. and worked in 3 of the Big4 Firms in Audit: Price Waterhouse Coppers (PWC), Deloitte & Touche and KPMG. She has more than 10 years of experience in public accounting and is well versed in the following standards: GAAP, IFRS & Sarbanes-Oxley.
Diana, her husband Jose, and daughter Maria have lived on the Treasure Coast for 4 years now. She enjoys being together with her family. She treats each client as if they are extended family. Diana truly goes above and beyond to assist all of our clients and we are very lucky to have her as part of our firm.
